In a delight to over 1800 workers of Tripura jutemills, the state High Court finally gave its verdict saying that workers will get their dues within a period of six months.

The verdict comes as a sigh of relief for the workers who had been facing hardships since 1996 owing to non payment of their dues.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the workers was also held on Wednesday, headed by Dhanamani Sinha.

Sinha noted that the workers will mount pressure on the state government to clear the dues soon.
