The Harijan Panchayat Committee is optimistic of a resolution to the long standing Harijan Colony Relocation Row as discussions continue with the Government of Meghalaya.
The Harijan Panchayat Committee is optimistic of a resolution to the long standing Harijan Colony Relocation Row as discussions continue with the Government of Meghalaya. A delegation from the Harijan Panchayat Committee met with Chief Secretary DP Wahlang today at the Secretariat to discuss the relocation of 342 families from Them Iew Mawlong. During the meeting, they presented their views to the chief secretary, alongside another delegation from Amritsar that was visiting Meghalaya for the discussions.
