Harijan Colony Relocation : Can’t meet every demand of HPC, says DY CM Prestone Tyngsong

Amid the rejection by the Harijan Panchayat Committee to the Government blueprint on relocation, the state Government is all set to brief the Meghalaya High Court on the steps taken
Informing this, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said the letter from the HPC rejecting the relocation proposal also indicated that they are not willing to sit across the table and discuss the matter. On the allegations by HPC that its eight-point demand has not been fulfilled by the government, Tynsong said that it is not possible for the government to meet every demand.
