A sensational murder case has come to light in Guwahati. A woman, in her 60s was found dead with her hands and feet tied at a residential complex where she was staying in the Kalapahar area.

The victim has been identified as Anu Hazarika, who is the owner of the Tara Hira Complex.

During an initial probe, it has been found that miscreants, after killing the victim, decamped with valuables including cash.

Not only was that, CCTV cameras also damaged by the assailants.

According to locals, the elderly woman had been living alone in the house for the last five years after her husband died.

Meanwhile, police reached the crime scene and commenced an investigation in the matter.
