Gang of 8 dacoits loot gold jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh from a house in Guwahati

In a daring dacoity, a gang of 8 dacoits decamped with gold jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh from the house of a businessman in Guwahati.
According to sources, the dacoits broke into businessman Tanjit Das’s house, used a spray to make the entire family, including the children, fall unconscious and left with the jewellery.
The dacoits forgot to disconnect the CCTV and the entire act was captured on CCTV camera, providing evidence for the investigation. A case has been registered at the Chandmari police station.
