One more COVID-19 positive case has been reported from Assam, this time from the state’s Hailakandi district taking the tally to 28.

The person who has tested positive has a travel history to Saudi Arabia.

This is the second case in the last 24 hours after one more sample from Dhubri tested positive this morning.

With this the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Assam has gone up to 28.

The development was confirmed on Twitter by Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
