Arunachal Pradesh is celebrating Sangken, the water festival in Namsai. It is the biggest festival of the Tai Khampti community of Arunachal.
The festivities of Sangken got underway on April 13. The four-day Sangken festival concluded at the Golden Pagoda premises in Tengapani in Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh today.
On the occasion, the Buddha statues were brought back to the Pagoda after they were kept in the open for the devotees to pay their obeisance for four days.
