Five NLFT (BM) militants surrender in Tripura

They chose to abandon the insurgent group and reintegrate with mainstream society

In a significant accomplishment, the Dhalai Police successfully facilitated the surrender of five recently recruited cadres of NLFT (BM) on Friday evening.

These individuals had been lured by the Biswamohan faction of the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and had initially joined their ranks.

However, having experienced hardships and disillusionment with false promises, they chose to abandon the insurgent group and reintegrate into mainstream society, police said.

The five newly surrendered cadres, who presented themselves before the Dhalai Police are Kanta Mohan Tripura, Nakshatra Debbarma, Emang Debbarma, Gertajoy Tripura, and Mansubar Tripura.
