The first day of hearing by the Joint Parliamentary Commitee concluded in Shillong today with altogether 8 groups including pressure groups and students organisations submitting their representations to the panel.
The first day of hearing by the Joint Parliamentary Commitee concluded in Shillong today with altogether 8 groups including pressure groups and students organisations submitting their representations to the panel.
Meanwhile, chairman of the Joint Parliamentary committee Rajendra Agarwal said that the panel had a a good discussion with various groups and that the suggestions and opinions will be passed on.
The parliamentary panel is scheduled to meet representatives of the state government and MPs of the state on Friday.
