An FIR has been filed against West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress party Chief Mamata Banerjee by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists over her recent remarks on the final draft NRC.

The FIR was filed yesterday at the Naharkatia police station in Dibrugarh district, accusing her of inciting ‘hate and tension’ among the co-existing communities with the intention of derailing the NRC process.
