The final well-killing operation at Baghjan will begin from October 18 with the arrival of the snubbing unit from Alberta, Canada. This was informed by OIL spokesperson Tridiv Hazarika.
A snubbing unit along with experts from Alert is expected to reach Baghjan for the final well-killing operation from Canada by 18th October. The killing operation is expected to take around two weeks if everything goes as per plans.
Necessary arrangements are being made at Baghjan for the installation of the snubbing unit once it reaches the well site.
As per information, the gas diversion operation is going on as per plane with all safety precautions and all vital parameters are in control.

He suffered from Covid-related complications and was admitted in Apollo, Delhi.
