Ferry services to and from Majuli suspended due to rising water level

Ferry services have once again been suspended between Majuli and Nimatighat due to rise in the water level of the Brahmaputra river.
The suspension of ferry services connecting several places in Upper Assam has created a hue and cry among commuters.
