Many locales of Modirijo in Arunachal Pradesh who have been worst affected by floods and landslides are yet to recover completely from the losses.
However, the village president in a startling disclosure said that a section of villagers have furnished false proofs to the district administration in an attempt to receive compensation from the state government.
According to the village president over 20 locals have made such attempts who further said that the local village authorities will prepare a list of the affected people who would be handed over to the government.
