It may be noted that 23 year old Faizan Ahmed who was an IIT Kharagpur third year mechanical engineering student was found dead in his hostel room on 14 October.
His parents after observing his body filed a case with the local police in Kharagpur requesting the Superintending of Police, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal and Inspector-in-charge of Kharagpur (Town) Police Station for an investigation.
Meanwhile, his family members have alleged that their son has been murdered.
Family members of Faizan also claimed that injury marks have been spotted on his body and called it a “Hundred percent case of murder.”
Hopefully, a thorough investigation will unearth the truth leading to the death of the bright student whose untimely demise has caused a deep sense of grief across the state.
