Elderly man stops Karnataka CM’s car. Here is why

Parking issues can be a source of frustration for many. An elderly man residing across the road from the residence of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaiah in Bengaluru experienced this first hand. Narottam, the concerned resident, decided to take matters into his own hands and stopped the CM’s car on Friday morning, seeking a resolution to the parking problems caused by frequent visitors to the CM’s house.

For the past five years, Narottam and his family had been facing difficulties due to vehicles parked haphazardly by people visiting the Chief Minister. Despite their grievances, the situation remained unresolved, leaving Narottam feeling helpless and frustrated.

In a surprising turn of events, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah displayed exemplary responsiveness and empathy. Instead of dismissing the concerns of his elderly neighbour, he took the time to listen to Narottam’s complaints. Expressing genuine concern, Siddharamaiah promptly instructed his security personnel to investigate the matter and find a viable solution to the parking issue.

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah continues to reside in his previous accommodation, where he settled as the Leader of the Opposition. It is expected that he will move to his official residence in August, following the recent vacation of the premises by former CM BS Yediyurappa.
