The Chief Minister said that Ekta Mall will emerge as an important hub for promoting and selling the state's products in the future.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has said that Ekta Mall (Unity Mall) is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project.

“Unity Mall is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project. Those responsible for constructing the Unity Mall have stated that they will complete the work within 27 months,” Saha said after attending the Bhoomi Pujan of the proposed Ekta Mall on Thursday.

“However, you must set a target earlier than this and complete it as soon as possible. I hope that until the work is completed, the MLA and local people will help and keep a close eye on it from time to time,” he added.

The Chief Minister said that Ekta Mall will emerge as an important hub for promoting and selling the state’s products in the future.

Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of establishing Ekta Mall in every state, CM Saha said that he took part in this initiative by participating in the Bhumi Pujan.

In a social media post on X, Manik Saha wrote, “To promote ‘One District, One Product’, PM @narendramodi Ji has decided to establish PM-Ekta Mall in every state. As part of this initiative, today participated in the Bhumi Pujan of proposed Ekta Mall at Hapania, to be built at a cost of approximately Rs 150 crore. I firmly believe that this complex will emerge as important hub for promoting and selling state’s products in the future.” (ANI)
