Drugs worth Rs 90 lakh were seized in Manipur’s border town Moreh on Wednesday evening.
Based on input by reliable sources, a combined team of Tengnoupal Police and Assam Rifles unearthed 30,000 World Is Yours tablets in a moped.
A person identified as Tongminlen Matewas carrying the heavy consignment in his moped, he was coming from Tengnoupal, going towards Palel when Police personnel stopped him.
On questioning, the arrested person revealed that the tablets were transported from Moreh to Pallel via Moreh-Multuk-Chamol-Tengnoupal route to skirt PVCP Khudengthabi.
