A drug peddler along with contraband items worth Rs 80 lakh has been arrested by the police in Tripura. A total of 10,000 YABA tablets and 30 grams of brown

A drug peddler along with contraband items worth Rs 80 lakh has been arrested by the police in Tripura.

A total of 10,000 YABA tablets and 30 grams of brown sugar have been seized from the man’s possession.

The items were smuggled by hiring an auto rickshaw from Kadamtala. The arrested person has been identified as Sufian Ahmed.

North district SP Bhanu Pada Chakraborty said that the drug peddler hailed from Assam.
