47 accused persons involved in the infamous Dokomoka lynching case was produced before the Nagaon district court today.
The Gauhati High court had ordered the case be transferred to Nagaon district court from the Diphu CJM court and fast track probe into the horrific incident of mob lynching that had sent shock-waves across the region.
Earlier, an irate mob had brutally assaulted Nilotpal Das and Abhijeet Nath on the fateful day of 8 June leading to their death.
The accused persons will be again produced before the Nagaon court on November 8.
