In a major development to the mob lynching case that took place in Karbi Anglong, police has finally nabbed the main accused Alphajoz Timung.
Alfa, who had been absconding ever since the brutal lynching of the two Assamese boys, was apprehended by the police late night on Tuesday from Bheloghat Bey village which falls under the Dokmoka police station.
This arrest marks a major breakthrough in the mob lynching case as Alphajoz was the main accused who instigated the mob against the two innocent boys.
Apart from the main accused Alphajoz, two more persons have been arrested in connection with the horrific mob lynching incident taking the tally of the total arrested persons to 28.
