Differently-Abled Man From Sikkim Allegedly Assaulted By Traffic Police in Odisha, CAP Demands Justice
In a shocking incident, a differently-abled man from Sikkim was allegedly assaulted by a traffic policeman in Odisha’s Gopalpur, following which the youth has been hospitalized at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and is said to be in a critical condition. The Citizen Action Party of Sikkim has issued a strong condemnation of the incident. The differently-abled youth Wegen Sherpa was reportedly returning from Gopalpur beach when he and his friends were stopped by traffic police.
