Demand for removal of Manipur University Vice-Chancellor Adya Prasad Pandey intensified today as Manipur University Teachers’ Association, Manipur University Students’ Union and Manipur University Staff Association started a relay hunger strike.
The hunger strike that started today at 11am will continue till July 21. Notably, the Manipur University Teachers Association, Manipur University Staff Association and the Manipur University Students’ Union have been jointly holding agitational programmes for the past 41 days demanding removal of the University Vice Chancellor for alleged administrative and financial irregularities.
