Daughter allegedly hacked to death by father in Guwahati

In a sensational incident from Guwahati, a father has been accused of killing his daughter in the Boragaon area of the city.

The accused identified as Balbahadur Bishwakarma alias Balen Chetri had reportedly killed his 11-year-old daughter last evening, following which he has been absconding.

It is learnt that the victim’s mother was not present in the house at the time of the crime. The police recovered a rope and an alcohol bottle beside the body of the victim.

It has also come to light that the family had been going through internal conflicts for the past few days.

A Manhunt to nab the absconding father is underway.
