The date to file claims and objections of the people who did not find their names in the final draft of the National Register of Citizens has been fixed from August 10 onwards.
People whose names did not figure in the final draft NRC can now visit the NRC Sewa Kendras and find out the reason for their exclusion.
The date has been postponed from the previous date of August 7 and forms for correction will be available at the NRC Seva Kendras across the state.
Out of the 3.29 crore applicants, 40.07 lakh were excluded from the final draft. Meanwhile, the next hearing for the NRC at the Supreme Court is slated for August 7.
