Cyclone Mocha in Mizoram : Lunglei district most affected by strong winds, rain

Although Cyclone Mocha did not directly hit Mizoram, its offshoot has left a trail of destruction in the southern and western parts of the state.
As per the state disaster management department, heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds lashed south Mizoram’s Lunglei district bordering Bangladesh since night forcing people to remain indoors.
