Another firing incident has taken place in Assam with police opening fire at a most wanted criminal. The incident took place last night in Dabaka’s Salbagan area, where police opened fire on notorious criminal Samsul Haq.
Samsul had been earlier arrested by the police during a raid at this house, after which the police took him to a certain spot where Samsul had reportedly hidden some weapons.

The police opened fire on Samsul after he tried to escape from the spot. After getting injured in the right leg, Samsul was admitted to the Bhogeswari Phukanani Civil Hospital in Nagaon.
Prior to this, during the raid at Samsul’s house, police recovered several guns and pistols, and also several rounds of live bullets. Samsul has been involved in several criminal cases in the past.
