With protests taking place in different parts of the country against the farm bills, the CPI-M and its affiliated groups took out a protest rally in Tripura’s Agartala against the bills recently passed in the parliament.

The CPI-M along with other organizations – DYFI, SFI, Sara Bharat Kisan Morcha and the All India Democratic Women’s Organisation jointly organised a protest rally in the state’s capital.

The protestors raised slogans and denounced the Central government in passing the three farm bills recently.

CPI-M leader and former state minister Manik Dey said that the Centre must take back the bills or else more agitations will follow.
