Amid the escalating Covid situation in state, Mizoram Health Minister Dr R Lalthangliana held a crucial meet with Aizawl Municipal Corporation Councillors and Aizawl City Area Local Council leaders to take stock of the situation in the town.
The meet focused on measures to contain the spread of Covid in the state capital.
Aizawl accounts for 60 percent of all active Covid cases in Mizoram.
It may be mentioned that the Centre has already termed Mizoram as a state of concern even as it recommended extreme caution for the next two months.
