COVID-19 cases in Manipur cross 300-mark; 22 more test positive

The number of COVID-19 cases in Manipur crossed the 300-mark after 22 more positive cases were reported in the state on Tuesday. The 22 individuals (9 Males and 13 Females)

The number of COVID-19 cases in Manipur crossed the 300-mark after 22 more positive cases were reported in the state on Tuesday.

The 22 individuals (9 Males and 13 Females) were confirmed positive at the VRDL, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).

Of the fresh cases, 2 were reported from Chandel district and 20 others from Kangpokpi district, a statement issued today by COVID-19 Common Control Room said.

All positive patients are returnees from Delhi. Their health conditions are stable and have been shifted to Covid Care facilities in Imphal.

The total number of positive cases in the state has increased to 304 and the active cases to 243.
