The number of COVID-19 cases in Assam continues to rise as 59 more tests positive for the deadly virus on Monday.
The total number of confirmed cases has now gone up to 2,835 with active cases at 2,044.
“59 new #COVID19+ cases. 14 Dhemaji, 13 Darrang, 8 Nagaon, 6 Biswanath, 6 Sonitpur, 5 Barpeta, 2 Chirang, 2 D’garh, 1 B’gaon, 1 K Anglong, 1 Kamrup (M),” Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
