In a shocking incident, a woman in Bihar was allegedly forced to give a body massage to an officer in charge of a police post in Saharsa district to get her son out of jail.
Taking cognizance of the incident Saharsa Superintendent of Police Lipi Singh has suspended the officer in question Shashi Bhushan Sinha with immediate effect after the video of the alleged incident went viral on social media.
Shashi Bhushan Sinha was posted as Sub-Inspector and In-charge of the Daghar police post, which is part of the Nauhatta police station in the district.
As per reports, the woman approached the Daghar police station and pleaded with Sinha to let his son out of jail. Sinha took advantage of her helplessness and asked her to massage his body with mustard oil.

The officer was semi-nude, with only a towel covering his mid-part of body. Later Sinha is overheard telling a lawyer that the woman is poor and cannot afford to give him money.
Sinha further told the lawyer that he would pay him Rs 10,000 and that he would send the two women in front of him with the necessary bail documents.
SP Lipi Singh said that an investigating committee led by an SDPO rank officer was set up soon after the video went viral. Sinha was suspended with immediate effect following its recommendations.
