A joint team of Assam Rifles and Manipur police seized drugs and contraband items worth a whopping Rs 28 crore in one of the biggest seizures in the state so far.
With specific inputs from reliable sources, a Joint team of Moreh Police, Assam Rifles and Women police raided a house in Moreh, and recovered a massive amount of drugs.
5,04,000 WY tablets, 15 kilos of Crystal Methamphetamine and 2 kilos of Ketamine Powder were recovered from the house.
The joint team arrested the resident a 47 year old woman, identified as Hahat Haokip.
Haokip revealed the drugs belong to two women identified as Matazin and Namkhohat residing in Tamu, a town on the Myanmar side of the border.
