Amidst reports of the Assam Government re-constructing a Forest Beat Office in Mukroh, the Government of Meghalaya today asserted that, construction of any infrastructure by the neighbouring State or its Autonomous District Council within the jurisdiction of Meghalaya will not be permitted. Speaking to the Media, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma said, anything within the jurisdiction of Meghalaya even if it is done by Assam or other Autonomous body will not be allowed.
