With the Covid-19 situation improving and positivity rate declining to 3.53% across Tripura, classes for students of pre-primary to Class VIII which were suspended in all schools have been resumed from yesterday.
Around 20 days back, the Tripura government had suspended classes up to VIII standards as there was a spike in infection across the state that crossed 1 per cent and above 26 percent in the Agartala Municipality Corporation area.
But now the situation is improving and Tripura claims to be among the states with a high vaccination rate covering more than 95 percent of first dose vaccinations.
