Assam’s Finance Minister and NEDA Chief Himanta Biswa Sarma and Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi have made it to top 100 powerful Indians of 2019. CJI Gogoi bagged the 3rd position and NEDA Chief Himanta Biswa Sarma is in the 57th position.

The Indian Express has released the list of top 100 powerful Indian. Among the 10 most powerful Indians in the list, the only two outside the BJP-RSS constellation are outgoing Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi who is also the first person from Northeast India to become Chief Justice of India and Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani.

The other who make up to top 10 are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwa, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Director of Intelligence Bureau Ajit Doval, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP MP Nitin Gadkari and BJP President J P Nadda.
