Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has been given a clean chit in the sexual harassment case levelled against him.
A three judge Supreme Court panel investigating the allegations gave a clean chit to the CJI on Monday.
The in-house committee, headed by Justice S.A. Bobde, did not find any substance to the allegations levelled against the CJI by a former Supreme Court employee. The in-house committee also included Justices Indu Malhotra and Indira Banerjee.
As per reports, the committee submitted its report to the next senior judge competent to receive the report.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura.
