Various civil society groups in Manipur took to the streets yesterday demanding the Centre and the state government to come clear on the Naga Peace Accord.
Members of the civil society groups took out a rally in Imphal West and even tried to march to the chief minister’s residence. The protesters were however, halted midway.
Later some members of the civil society bodies were granted audience with the chief minister. The civil society members submitted their demands to the CM.
