The CID Assam Police have begun investigations into the Panchayat and Rural Development examination anomalies. CID sleuths have already left for different examination centres to track leads into the anomalies.

Following the tough stand on the issue by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Panchayat and Rural Development minister Naba Doley had called for the CID probe.
