Is the Centre working silently on trying to resolve the 16 month long ethnic riots in Manipur? Sources have said that central agencies are working overtime to try and end the violence through the medium of dialogue between communities. The issue may be different, but the Centre’s decision to invite the United Naga Council (UNC), the apex Naga tribal body in Manipur, to discuss the issue of rollback of the 7 new districts could just be the beginning.
