The All Assam Students’ Union is all set to intensify its opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

AASU Chief Advisor Samujjal Bhattacharya has said that by introducing CAB, the Centre is trying to undermine the NRC.

The AASU Chief Advisor said that the students’ body will continue to oppose the Bill as the Bill proposes to provide Citizenship to alleged illegal immigrants who came to India till 2014.
