A wave of celebrations illuminated the skies around the world as spectacular fireworks were displayed along with dazzling light shows to welcome 2019.
Celebrations were also seen across India as we ushered in 2019. People gathered and celebrated the new year with much enthusiasm and zest.
Devotees thronged the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings and welcome the New Year. Golden Temple was illuminated and fireworks were on display as Amritsar welcomed the New Year.
Meanwhile, the Guwahati State Zoo in the state witnessed a rush of visitors on the first day of the year today.
