Captain Williamson Sangma State University, M'laya To Have a Tribal Studies Dept: Education Minister

The newly established Captain Williamson Sangma State University in Meghalaya will feature a Department of Tribal Studies to preserve and promote Meghalaya’s endangered dialects and tribal languages. This was informed by Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma stating that the initiative aims to safeguard the state’s cultural heritage through education and academic exploration.
