Indigo security staff members of Agartala Airport found large quantities of cannabis hidden in pineapple packets.

The security staff found consignment of cannabis during the scanning of pineapple packets. After receiving information, police rushed to the airport and seized the cannabis packets.

According to police, 22 packets of pineapple were recovered, each packet expected to contain 10 kg of cannabis.

Police have detained a person in connection with the case. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
