5 BJP MLAs and 1 NPF MLA were sworn in as ministers, in Chief Minister N Biren Singh’s cabinet today, filling up the 12 ministerial posts in the BJP led government in Manipur.

The swearing in ceremony for the 6 ministers was administered by Governor La Ganesan at the Raj Bhavan in Imphal.

Two ministers from Imphal West, one each from Imphal East, Bishnupur, Tengnoupal and one from Hill district Ukhrul were were sworn in today.

BJP MLAs Letpao Haokip, H Dingo, Dr S Ranjan, Th Basanta and L Susindro together with NPF MLA Khasim Vashum were given ministerial breth in the Biren Singh cabinet.

It needs to be mentioned here that apart from the 2 ministers from the NPF, no MLAs from other Political party has been inducted as ministers in the Biren Singh led Manipur government.
