A series of consultative meetings between the Arunachal Pradesh government and different stake holders over the issue of Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) concluded on Wednesday.

The final deliberations were held between state home minister Bamang Felix, who is also the chairman of the consultative meeting on CAB and the influential All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union.

It may be mentioned that separate meetings were held between all the concerned stake holders which included all political parties, community based organisations, women and students bodies.

Talking to Northeast Live, AAPSU Spokesperson Nepha Wangsa reiterated about the students body’s stiff opposition to the Bill.
