Burglary in a Church in Shillong, Items of Spiritual and Historical Value Stolen

The stolen items, which hold cultural and religious significance, have left the local community in disbelief.

In a shocking incident, thieves broke into the Unitarian Church in Madan Laban, Shillong, in the early hours of Friday, stealing valuable spiritual and historical items.

The culprits took four large brass flower pots and two chalices from the old and new church buildings.

The burglars ransacked the church library, causing significant damage.

The stolen items, which hold cultural and religious significance, have left the local community in disbelief.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and the church is urging the public to come forward with any information that might lead to the culprits’ arrest.
