The Border Security Force (BSF) has seized contraband items worth Rs 2.76 lakh in Tripura.
Based on specific inputs, a joint special depth patrolling party comprising of BSF troopers of Border Out Post Karamtila and Border Out Post Amlighat recovered large quantity of cannabis and Phensidyl from the border area under Sabroom sub-division.
The BSF troopers recovered 45 kgs of Ganja and 275 Bottles of Phensidyl from the forest area.
The total market value of then seized contraband items is Rs 2,76,328.75.
The seized items have been handed over to the police of PS Manu bazar for further investigation.
