BSF Destroys Illegal Cannabis Cultivation in South Tripura Forest
In a major breakthrough in its ongoing fight against drug cultivation, Tripura Police, in collaboration with multiple agencies, carried out an operation in the dense forests of South Tripura, leading to the destruction of a large number of marijuana plants. The operation started in the early hours of Wednesday when a team of Tripura Police launched a coordinated raid in the forest areas of Hetalia, Woangcherra and Kamalakantapara. The extensive search led to the discovery and destruction of approximately 26 thousand 500 pre-mature marijuana plants, spread across seven plots covering around 6 acres of reserved forest land.
