Sleuths of Narcotic Affairs and Boder team seized around 7 kg & 500 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 80 lakh from Sapermeina Bazar in Manipur.

Acting on a specific input, two people were arrested in this regard. Apart from brown sugar, a Maruti Wagon R car bearing registration number AS 01 BG 1493, a sum of Rs 15260 cash and other incriminating articles were also recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered and investigation is underway in this regard.
