The mortal remains of the girl en route Mizoram who lost her life after falling from a moving train in Malda, West Bengal arrived at Keifang in Saitual district on Thursday.

The burial service of the deceased was conducted at the Keifang cemetry.

It may be mentioned, that the 26-year-old girl was returning to Mizoram in a Shramik Special train from Maharashtra when she reportedly fell from the moving train. As per reports, the incident took place at Malda in West Bengal on Tuesday night.

The victim was reportedly rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries. She was identified as Marlia Vanlalhmangaihzuali.

Reportedly, the victim was standing near the door when she dozed off slightly and met with the accident. After the incident, others in her compartment immediately pulled the chain and went to her rescue but to no avail.
